30 weeks...

WHAT?!?!?  I can not believe I am 30 weeks!  I feel grrrreat!  Only complaint I have is I can not get comfortable sleeping, or on the couch, or anywhere!  I roll from side to side at night with aching hips and sore outer thighs!  They feel bruised!  My relief is my constant potty breaks throughout the night!  ha!  So besides the crappy sleep, things are wonderful!  Our 1st birthing class last week was good!  I think there are 12 couples total, and most seem very similar to us.  Extremely cool!  hahaha  Even have two other Packer fan couples!  One from Waupaca, and another went to East High School!  Small world!!!  It's everyone's first baby and Lee and I are 3rd to last in the due date order.  We will have this class 1x per week for a while now and I am seeing some decent friends come out of this group!  Very cool!  (Lee even got to hold onto a fake uterus!  Pretty lucky guy!)

I started babysitting today for the neighbor kiddos, who are such awesome kids!  We had a blast in the sunny weather today and I know we will have many more to come this summer... but boy oh boy, I am wiped out!  Being pregnant is a lot of work!  :)

Next week we head to the big city of GB!!!  Baby shower time at the Berken Family Cottage~

Axl & the lovely cottonwood...

I had to post a picture of the "big brother to be" in his prime!  The cottonwood in our yard is out of control and it sucks!!!  It doesn't bother Axl much at all!  He still rolls around on the ground happy as a pig in mud!

29 weeks...

Feeling great!  (Besides being tired and having some headaches...)  Things are good!  Getting bigger and definitely feeling bigger!  Lee and I start our "birthing classes" tomorrow!  I am excited!  I will keep you posted...  Baby girl has been active as ever!  Wondering when we will SEE some crazy movement?!?!  We are headed to GB in a few short weeks for our 2nd baby shower, and we can not wait to see family and friends!!!!

My last day with kiddos at school is tomorrow!!!  And then I am off until January 9th!!!  I took the 1st semester off next school year to hang with my baby girl!!!  So happy!!!  My summer plans are to babysit for some neighbor kids 3 days a week, make some extra money for the arrival of our daughter, have a few baby showers, go to City Park pool and lay out like a beach whale... and wait for the big day!!!

Prenatal Yoga

Took my 1st prenatal yoga class tonight... it was wonderful!  Lots of mommies-to-be and some serious stretching and relaxing!  So needed and totally excited for more!  Baby dug it, too!  Very active throughout  the entire class! Namaste~

Baby shower invites!

I have the coolest friends and family EVER!  They have created some of the most imaginative and awesome baby invites and shower themes!  I had to put pictures up so that later down the road I can look at them with our daughter and show her how cool her family is!!!  (I guess this blog can be turned into a book!  So cool!)

Daddy felt his first kick!!!!!

Last night, baby was kicking and as usual I yelled for Lee to come feel... usually at this time, she stops.  This time she let out a big ol' kick, and Lee felt it, big time!!!  His face lit up and he yelled, "I felt it!  Whoa!"  It was pretty awesome!!!  We had big perma-grins!  We've been waiting for this moment for awhile now... :)  27 weeks 3 days, is the official date of daddy's first kick!!!

Kentucky Derby...

Baby's 1st Kentucky Derby!  My homemade Derby hat, plastic babies and all.  Very classy.

Our 1st Baby Shower!!!

I am lucky to have an amazing crew of co-workers who really showered me with love!  It was the 1st of our baby showers, and it was wonderful!  Beautiful, thoughtful and so much fun!  We had some awesome treats, beautiful decorations and received some very special gifts!  Thank you to everyone for all the love!!!  I wanted to post a million pics, but we picked 4... just a taste!  :)

Yawning!!!

Well, I guess baby was bored during our ultrasound today... big ol' yawns!!!  It was so awesome!!!  All of the pics today were amazing!  She actually looks more like a baby and not so "skeleton-y"!  She had so many poses for us, as she was moving the entire time!  From legs crossing, and sucking on her fingers to her having her hands up behind her head~ just chillin'!  She was literally dancing on my bladder !  No wonder I always feel like I'm going to pee my pants!  Today was amazing!!!

26 weeks...

I look nice and fat!  I LOVE it!  Babes has been moving so much today and she is pushing on my bladder when she moves, so I pretty much almost peed my pants like, 50 times today!!!!  :)  No aqua natal class this month, but I am going to do some prenatal yoga instead!  Hopefully swim class will resume next month!  I will have to walk Axl double time to stay active!  I am sure he will not mind one bit!  Funny story about Axl... whenever Lee puts his face on my belly and talks to our daughter, Axl gets all excited, runs up to us and licks us and my belly!  Pretty funny!  He can hear us from another room even and comes running!!!  hahaha
