Christmas!

Finley's 1st Christmas was very exciting and so special!  We went to Grandma & Grandpa Kacz's for Christmas eve.  Opened gifts with Graham, Brook, Nate and grandpa & grandma!  Played 80's Trivial Pursuit, ate lots of food and played with all of her new toys!  Finley got new pjs, a new dolly, new toys & stuffed animals, a new play kitchen and a new cruiser.  :)  On Christmas morning, Finley slept in late and then woke up to open gifts with mommy and daddy.  It was a very special morning~  including finding out she invested in some Disney stock!!! Later in the day Grandma & Granpa Berken came over and we did it all over again!  Open lots and lots of presents, ate lots of food and ended the night with a Packer victory over the Bears!  (Clinching NFC and home field advantage throughout playoffs!  Yipee!)  Some of the wonderful presents Finley receieved include more clothes, some cute owl dinnerware, a lot of amazing books, some Packer gear, ornaments AND finding out she ownes a share of the Green Bay Packers~

12/22/11 Finley June is 5 months old!!!!!

My sweet, baby girl is 5 months old!  How did this happen?!?!?

Important update~ GIGGLE GIGGLE

Finley has officially started to giggle!  She had always been very smiley baby and seems to start a giggle all the time, but yesterday and today she is full on giggling all the time!!!  It is soooooo stinkin' cute!!!!!  5 months old tomorrow... :)

1st bowl of cereal!

Finley had a bowl of rice cereal last night for the first time!  It was VERY messy and I think she got about 1% in her belly, but it was funny and adorable!  She really seemed to enjoy it! :)

(I wish I could download the videos, as they are sooooo cute~ but it seems like it would take 10 hours to fully download at the rate it was moving.... maybe it will happen, we'll see!)

4 month check up

We had Finley's 4 month appointment today (even though she is actually about 2 weeks past her 4 mo. birthday) and it went great!  She did great.... until the shots!!!  Poor baby!  Screams so hard there is no sound!  I just hook her up to a boob afterwards and within 5 minutes she is good as new!  :)

Since the day she was born, we have called her "one-eyed Finny" ( a play off of the movie The Goonies, one-eyed Willy).  She would always peek at us with just one eye and it was always so cute!  This must be the "advanced one-eyed Finny"... it was actually a wink!  Too cute!!!
