Yesterday Finley saw her Orthopedic Dr, today she saw her pediatrician! Busy week!
~Dr. Hartmann, her orthopedic doctor said her hips look awesome and he has absolutely no concerns :)
~Dr Guenther, her pediatrician had lots and lots to say! Everything looks great physically & emotionally and she is right on track for her age.... BUT we did get "scolded" a bit for maybe catering a bit too much to her, therefore encouraging her to not want to be mobile! We have until the 3rd week in May to get her mobile (rolling, scooting or crawling) before he refers us to a physical therapist for Finn to help her get mobile! He said they will put her out of her comfort zone and help her get there... but in the meantime we need to start making her work a bit more to get the things she wants, rather than do it for her! So in other wards when she gets mad that she can't reach a toy or when she wants another Cheerio, we need to wait and let her try and get it! Gulp. :(
She is in the 80th percentile for her head circumference (lots of brains), 60th percentile for her length and she weighs 18.4 pounds!
