It was a good day :)

First, music class.  Then out to lunch with friends.  Home to play and then out to the brewery to hang with my buddy, Adelai and listen to some tunes...

Updates:

Very stubborn.  Likes to get what she wants when she wants it.  Loves to scream. Is getting awesome at army crawling and has been working on getting up to her knees more often. Likes to spit back and forth with mommy & daddy!  Giggles when giggled at. Likes to touch things, she shouldn't, then smile at you!  Is really good an "alone play". Has the most amazing and happy personality ever!  Smiling 99% of the time. Still sucks at napping. Has top 2 teeth peeking through. Is only breastfeeding in the morning and at night, bottles of formula during the day.... She is growing like a weed and is only one month away from turning 1!!!!  Ahhhhhh!

Our trip to Wisconsin~

We arrived on Thursday night (After a stellar flight with no nap but no fussing at all!  It was amazing!!!) and headed to grandma & grandpa Berken's.  Got some play time in even though it was very late, and then crashed!  Friday we hung out with grandma & grandpa Berken and then headed to great grandma & pa Jenkels house and the out for a fish fry!  Great grandpa Kacz joined us, grandma & pa Kacz along with uncle Scott and Kim (in town from Florida), my aunt Sue, aunt Janis and my cousin Chad with his wife Katie and daughter McKayla.  It was a blast!  After we got nice and full we headed back to the Berkens for playtime and bed!  Saturday we headed up north to Bayshore Park for my cousin Carly's wedding reception/picnic!  We drank some beer, ate some grub and played hard!  It was also a special night in that we spread my uncle Bruce's ashes out on the water!  It was such an amazing evening!  After that grandpa & ma Berken picked up Finley for the night and mommy & daddy went up to daddy's family's cabin for the night!  First time mom left for an overnight!  Ahhhhhh! Drank some wine around  campfire with some good people out on the Bay and passed out after a fun few days!  The next morning I was happy to find out Finley had a great night and everything was fine! Relief!  Sunday was a fun day up at the cabin with friends and the Berken family including an "almost 1 birthday cake" Finley got to dig into!  (Thank you Melanie!!!)  We played with Lee's Uncle Dick & Aunt Jeannie, cousin Eric & wife Beth and their kiddos, Danny & Maddie.  Along with the Christensens, John & Melanie & their 4 kids Morgan, Jack, Matia & Maya. We ended that night with some playtime in the Bay and then home for the night!  Monday was our last day in which we visited with great grandma & pa Jenkel, Uncle Scott & Kim, Aunt Sue and grandma DeeDee Bird.  Then over to the Christensen's house (Grandma Berken nannies for them) and played!  Then it was off to the airport!  Again, Finley did not sleep on the plane but did an amazing job!  A bit grabby and bratty now, wanting to touch everything and take everything from you, BUT she barely fussed the whole way!  It was a fun few days, and now we are trying to stay cool back in the Colorado heat!  Home sweet home!

Finley has been getting really good at her army crawl!  It's soooooo cute!  And she is so happy to finally get what she wants, when she wants it!

We are also getting ready for her 2nd plane trip!  On Thursday, we are going to Wisconsin to my cousin Carly's wedding reception and also Finley will be meeting Uncle Scott & Auntie Kim for the first time!  Wish us luck on our plane ride!  Last time it was pretty smooth (minus a poop explosion or two)... but this time she is much more active and wanting to do stuff!  Good thing daddy got tickets in the very back row!  That should eliminate bothering as many people!  I think daddy should wear his neck brace also.  Ya never know, maybe upgrade to 1st class???  :)

Happy 1st Father's Day, daddy!

Finley did her very 1st art project!  Finger painted a picture (and ate some) and then we put it in a frame for daddy with a cute picture of his baby girl!  She even signed the card!

3rd trip to the doc in a week with UTI and severe reactions to antibiotics! BUT I am happy to report that almost 7 days after it all began, Finley seems to be herself again!  Will be on her dumb meds for 10 more days, but she is happy and silly and playful again! :)
