Out to lunch with mommy & daddy

The weather was so beautiful today and we decided to enjoy a lunch outside. No highchairs here, so Finley had to make do with a big kids chair! She did great and we had a wonderful day! She is getting so big and more and more beautiful (if that's possible) every day! There are so many moments that Lee and I have no words to express how much we love her... we just want to squeeze her!!!!

(Side note~ Finley has become the biggest cuddler EVER!!! She actually hugs and kisses and cuddles in bed with us for long periods of time! IT IS AWESOME!!!!!)

Updates

Finley seems a lot more interested in trying to take steps, lately! It's pretty exciting! I feel like it could be sooner than later that she finally starts walking!

Finley is just pure awesome! She claps, she smiles constantly, giggles all the time, she hugs, she kisses, she puts things together, takes things apart, she stacks things, she makes a mess, she loves the pets, she can't get enough of outside, she is thriving in daycare, she is having a blast at home with grandma. She screams when I come home from work! She eats like a horse, she begs like a dog. She is finally putting herself to sleep at night. She is an angel all the time and I love her more than anything!!!

Open. Shut. Repeat.

Open. Shut. Open. Shut. All day long! Finley loves to open and shut everything! If I open something, she shuts it. If I shut something, she opens it. She usually claps for herself every time also!

Mommy found a dollhouse, an RV, a minivan, tent, hot tub, park set and much much more on Craigslist! Some of it is packed away as it isn't age appropriate yet, but the parts we pulled out for her to play with now are awesome!!!! She loves the house!!! :)

Temper tantrums :(

Lately Finley has had a serious attitude. With almost everything. When she wants something and she can't get it, she gets pissed. Quick. We are trying to balance not giving in to her right away and knowing when we need to. It is a hard and tiring battle. She is throwing food at meal times, also. She refuses to crawl to us sometimes and screams with her arms in the air until we go to her. When we leave the park, she reaches back for the park, and screams. When we open the back door to let Axl out, and she doesn't get to go out, she screams. I have read that this can happen at her age, but I also constantly worry and wonder if we are doing something wrong. :( Maybe it's the fact that she is still a crappy napper and isn't getting enough sleep???? Ahhhhhhhh!
