Minny-sota!

We went to Minnesota for a few days to celebrate Claire & Ross's wedding.  Grandpa & Grandpa Berken came from Wisconsin to hang out with us the whole weekend also!  They got to spend a lot of quality time with Finny and mom and dad got to hang out with friends and "sleep in"!  It was magnificent!  Finley did an excellent job on the plane rides, in the hotels and traveling in the car!  What a rockstar!  The plane rides were definitley a lot of work, but she did good!  Too old to sleep the entire time but too young to watch an entire movie on a dvd player.  Just wanted to get down and crawl and play.... So we had to be constantly entertaining, but overall she did great!  :)  We did have 1 (her first) major meltdown at a restaraunt.   It included screaming, bucking bronco moves and throwing herself backwards.  We ended up having to leave!  It was a treat.  But, I will say I couldn't blame her.  It WAS a long day of traveling and being very sick.  After we left and let her down to play, she was fine!  Guess she wasn't in the mood to be stuck in a highchair after being stuck on a plane!  ha! 

It was a fun few days but we ready to get back to our daily routine and some quality family time with Deez and Axl!  (Finley looks everywhere for them when we mention their names and are not home!)

After saying it over & over here at home, and after Grandma & Pa Berken reminding her 100x on the hotel beds while on vacation, Finley officially turns around to back off beds and down stairs!  :)  Too cute!!!

Ear infection

Unfortunetly Finley is sick again :(  After another trip to the doctor, it was confirmed.  Poor baby has a ear infection and a raging cold.  We are supposed to fly out on Thursday for a midwest wedding, so we are hoping she is 1000x better than she is right now.  She is miserable!!!
