Dad was in Denver overnight, we were out of food (pretty much), it was snowing like crazy... was it a good idea?  Probably not.  But we went!

Fire station field trip

It was so, so cool!!!   We saw the kitchen, living room (man cave), bedroom, work out work, explored all the doors, drawers and gadgets on the trucks, walk inside of the fire engine and got to see the trucks go out for THREE actual calls while we were there!  Lights and sirens and all!
